    Nurse Practitioner Salary Range $80-90 Job Summary

    We are a busy Pediatric practice in Inglewood. Looking for a Pediatric NP or PA to work 24 to 36 hours a week. Prefer minimal 1 year of experience. Will need to be able to see 20-23 patients a day. Reimbursement at $80-90 an hour depending on experience.

    Requirements:

    Minimum 1 year of experience in a pediatric patients.

    Must be comfortable managing 20-23 patients a day.

    Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    Providing direct patient care, including well-child physicals and sick visits.

    Handling parent communications and follow-up calls.

    Completing school and other related forms.

    Reviewing and managing lab results, X-rays, ER, and specialist reports.

    General Accountabilities

    Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.

    Diagnoses or treats acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.

    Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.

    Prescribes medications.

    Educates patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.

    Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.

    Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.

    Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.

    Keeps abreast of developments in nursing.

    Refer patients for primary care conditions.

    Schedules follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.

    Performs routine or annual physical examinations.

    Supervises or coordinates patient care or support staff activities.

    Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.

    Keeps abreast of regulatory processes and payer systems.

    Job Qualifications

    State of California RN, NP, NPF licenses-Required

    DEA-Required

    Experience: minimal of 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
