    Job description

    DUTIES OF POSITION

    We are looking for an RN to join our team of clinical managers who has current experience with OASIS documentation, QA and process improvement. The responsibilities will include coordination with appropriate management personnel in the oversight and review of OASIS documentation, physician orders, outcome measures and survey requirements. Monitors and participates in clinical record review process for quality metrics, billing and case coordination oversight. Develops plan for ongoing in-services and staff development. Participates in developing parameters, establishing best practices and teaches field nurses the agency standards. Participate in managing ongoing education for clinical staff. Consult with physicians in matters relating to patient care services. Strong working knowledge of OASIS and QA/QI activities. 2 years of Medicare Certified Home Health required. 1 year of supervisory/management experience preferred. Not a remote position. Ensuring all services and documentation meet the organizations standards and state and federal guidelines.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Review documentation contained in the medical record for appropriateness and completeness.

    2. Review/ Compose Plans of Care.

    3. Review documentation for proper visit utilization.

    4. Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations, standards and all changes and updates.

    5. Develop field staff documentation skills.

    6. Gather data and statistics for QA program.

    7. Participate in QA activities.

    8. Review OASIS documentation and skilled nurse notes.

    9. Maintain knowledge of interaction classification of diseases coding system to include revisions.

    10. Perform QA audits.

    11. Any other tasks as assigned by the QA Director or Administrator.

    JOB CONDITIONS

    1. Position dependent on meeting deadlines.

    2. It is primarily a desk job which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.

    3. It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts.

    4. The ability to read 12 point and larger type is required.

    5. One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

    EQUIPMENT OPERATION

    The job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment. Knowledge of Axxess software is a plus.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. An RN with current license to practice in states of operation.

    2. Should be a skilled organizer.

    3. Possess computer skills
