    Position: eLearning Instructional Designer
    Location: Remote
    Clearance: Eligible for a clearance

    SUMMARY:
    Work on an integrated team with other IDs, Army client, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and other development team members to design an eLearning training solution with level 2-3 interactivity, as defined by Army Distributed Learning.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    -- Ensure the instructional integrity and educational effectiveness of all training materials produced.
    -- Employ adult learning theory principles and learner-centric strategies in courseware designs.
    -- Collaborate closely with SMEs and other team members in development of storyboards with engaging and purposeful learning activities.
    -- Design complex level branching and intrinsic feedback loops.
    -- Apply proven eLearning best practices for learner engagement and knowledge transfer to include (but not limited to): simulations, practical exercises, and scenario-based knowledge checks, as applicable during the storyboarding process.
    -- Communicate effectively within the framework of an Army training culture.
    -- Employ excellent planning and time management skills to ensure storyboards are delivered on schedule
    -- Efficiently interface with team-members using technology-based workflow resources such as MS Teams and SharePoint.
    -- Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
    -- Prior experience as an eLearning designer/developer of IMI Level 2-3 and storyboard design.
    -- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related discipline. Ideal candidate will have specialization in Instructional Systems Design or Instructional Design Technology.
    -- 5 years' experience in the Instructional Design field.
    -- Firm understanding of the ADDIE system of design and evaluation.
    -- Ability to communicate ideas effectively and simplify or streamline complex ideas and processes.
    -- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
    -- Must be able to work in a dynamic and flexible environment where priorities and deadlines may change.
    -- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    -- Ability to interface in a professional manner with Senior-level personnel in the company and Government/Military clients.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
    -- Experience designing Army or Army University distributed learning content for interactive instructional multimedia to include game-based design.
    -- Demonstrated self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
    -- Experience in a Government contracting environment.
    -- Familiarity with military culture.
    -- Familiarity with Adobe Captivate.
    -- Familiarity with learning management systems as delivery platforms for eLearning courseware.
    -- US citizen. Eligible for government security clearance.

    OTHER:
    -- The ID will be expected to work within established project processes/deadlines (independent of home base time zone), collaborate with team members, and create project deliverables.
