    Marketing Manager

    Kent, WA (this is an in-office role)

    Our client, a leading outdoor sporting goods design and manufacturing company located in the PNW is looking to add a Marketing Manager to their team. The Marketing Manager will be leading the events, public relations, and partnerships for brand promotion and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate is someone who can keep up with industry advancements and opportunities, exercise strategic thinking, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and, if you enjoy the great outdoors, that is a big plus!

    Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

    • Develop, plan and manage annual events.
    • Work with external PR firm to ensure accurate brand representation and exposure.
    • Create yearly Ambassador Team schedule to support corporate objectives.
    • Organize and oversee marketing resources and activities to achieve successful marketing campaigns.
    • Work with partner organizations on strategic campaigns to increase customers and enrich brand experience on dealer websites.
    • Create and maintain an annual budget.
    • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the company at in-person events.
    • Understand the market and potential customer base.
    • Develop strong understanding of the company's products and services.
    • Align the marketing and support initiatives with the sales goals.
    • Attend networking and industry events.

    Marketing Manager Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in PR, communications, marketing, sales, or a related field.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing management, business, or relevant field preferred.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience in cost estimating, planning, and budgeting.
    • Excellent quality assurance and consulting skills.
    • Proficiency in procuring and overseeing external assets, including consultants, agencies, and professional service providers.
    • Strong problem-solving, research, and supervisory abilities including leading and promoting staff development.
    • Valid driver's license and the capacity to drive long distances with a trailer.
    • The ability to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
    • Enjoys outdoor activities.
