Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic part time Property Manager, protentional resident manager to join the team on a newly renovated 78 unit property located in Pittsburgh, PA. Property Manager is responsible for directly managing all aspects of their assigned commercial and/or residential properties. Lease up will be an important part of this job as we bring the renovated units on line. As a successful Property Manager, your goals are to maintain high occupancy rates, maximize profitability, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both the property owner and the residents. Responsibilities

Advertise vacant units

Show properties to prospective residents and inform them of all available amenities

Hold open houses

Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references

Accept rental payments and provide receipts

Respond to resident inquiries

Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trends

Negotiate leasing terms and close deals

Inspect properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs

Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proven working experience in property management

High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Property Management or Real Estate License preferred

Deep understanding of real estate law and leasing practices

Up-to-date on the local real estate market

Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills

Experience with property management software preferred
