Volunteer Management Consultant Intern

We are seeking a Volunteer Management Consultant Intern to play a critical role in gathering, organizing, and presenting market data and insights to support consulting projects. You will work closely with company leadership to deliver high-quality research outputs that inform internal strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will exhibit potential and a strong foundation in relevant skills, along with a passion for learning and growth.

Please note that this role is a Volunteer Internship, no wages will be provided

Responsibilities:

· Market Research Assistance: Conduct market research activities, including gathering data from various sources such as industry reports, databases, and online sources

· Data Collection and Entry: Collect and organize market data into structured databases or spreadsheets for analysis ensuring data accuracy and completeness

· Data Analysis Support: Analyze market data using basic statistical techniques or software tools to generate descriptive statistics, charts, and graphs to visualize trends and patterns

· Industry Trends Monitoring: Monitor industry publications, news articles, and online forums to stay updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and regulatory changes relevant to client industries

· Research Documentation: Document research findings, methodologies, and sources in reports, presentations, or memos, ensuring proper citation and referencing of sources to maintain research integrity

· Presentation Preparation: Create visually appealing presentations summarizing research findings, insights, and recommendations; support tasks including formatting slides, charts, and graphs to enhance clarity and impact

· Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions offered by the consulting firm. Take initiative to learn new research methodologies, analytical tools, and industry best practices

Must Haves – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Students currently enrolled in a University Bachelor’s or Master’s program
• Strong computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Workspace)
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Location: Remote

Additional Information:

• This volunteer internship ( unpaid ) will take place from June 2024 through August 2024
• Hours are flexible during business hours, Monday through Friday
