Job Description / Responsibilities: Services to help the agency manage deployed mobile technology devices as well as new deployments using VMware Workspace One UEM (AirWatch). Devices may include but not limited to: smartphones, laptops, tablets and related mobile computing hardware. Tasks: • On-site system administration of VMware Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) system • Manage system settings and software deployment for mobile devices using VMware Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) • Develop and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies on VMware Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) • Serve as a software, hardware, and OS specialist to deploy, manage, track, and audit mobile devices using VMware Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) • Troubleshoot, monitor and diagnose problems with mobile device hardware and software • Service software and hardware issues for Tablets, Smart phones & Laptops, including Android and iOS devices • Perform mobile device upgrades for Android smartphone and Windows 10 mobile computers • Interact with New York City Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications (DoITT) for device support and operations • Document and organize operating procedures for mobile device configurations, technical support, processes, and procedures as needed • Troubleshoot wireless carrier network services such as voice, data, Short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), data tethering, mobile hot spot, management of carrier mobile telephone numbers between devices • Use ticketing system (Service Desk + / Remedy) for daily ticket processing Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 3 to 5 years of industry experience in Mobile Device using VMWare WorkSpace ONE / AirWatch (primary criteria) Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows devices Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Android devices.
