    We want to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance agent team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth. The ideal candidate for our Entry-Level Insurance Agent position has the solid communications skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative! Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs What is expected of our Agents? • Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter • Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals • Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security • Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients • Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise • Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of community over time Qualifications: • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations Qualities that we look for in our Agents: • Sales experience preferred, but not required – ambitious mindset, no mile too far • Strong communication skills both written and verbal • Desire to help families and businesses to “Be Good At Life.” • Strong business acumen • Professional business demeanor • Perseverance in the face of a challenge • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts Compensation: $100,000+ at plan yearly
