About the Role:

Central Security Service Bureau LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced NYS Certified Security Guard Instructor to join our team in White Plains, NY. Responsibilities:

Deliver NYS-approved security guard training courses in compliance with state regulations

Instruct students on security protocols, legal powers of arrest, fire safety, and emergency procedures

Develop and update course materials to align with current NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) standards

Evaluate and assess student performance through written and practical examinations

Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and certification documentation

Foster a professional and engaging classroom environment for adult learners

Stay current with changes in NYS security guard laws, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:

Active NYS DCJS Certified Security Guard Instructor license required

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of NYS security guard training curriculum and DCJS compliance requirements

Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills

Ability to engage and motivate adult learners from diverse backgrounds

Reliable, professional, and punctual with strong attention to detail

Must be able to pass a background check
