About the Role:

Central Security Service Bureau LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced NYS (IDC) Certified Security Guard Instructor to join our team in the Bronx, NY. Responsibilities:

Deliver NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS)-approved security guard training courses in compliance with state standards

Instruct students on security fundamentals, legal powers of arrest, emergency procedures, and professional conduct

Develop and update curriculum materials to align with current NYS IDC training requirements

Evaluate and assess student performance through examinations and practical demonstrations

Maintain accurate student attendance records, certifications, and training documentation

Ensure a safe, professional, and engaging classroom learning environment

Stay current with changes to NYS security guard licensing laws and training regulations

Requirements:

Active NYS DCJS-issued Instructor Development Course (IDC) certification is required

Prior experience as a licensed security guard or law enforcement professional strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of NYS security guard licensing laws, regulations, and DCJS requirements

Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills

Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of adult learners

Highly organized with attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance reporting

Must be reliable, professional, and punctual with a commitment to student success
