About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Akron Animal Hospital as a NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician! We are passionate about providing top-notch care to our patients and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries.

Administer medications and vaccinations to animals.

Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results.

Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during procedures.

Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Ensure a clean and safe environment for animals and staff.

Educate pet owners on post-operative care and preventative health.

Requirements:

NYS Veterinary Technician License required.

Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compassion for animals and their well-being.

Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.

Ability to handle animals safely and effectively.

Team player with a positive attitude.
