    Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program.     Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Psychology Intern (Outpatient Behavioral Health).

    The psychology internship aims to prepare interns for future careers as professional psychologists. The program is designed to refine clinical skills through close supervision, clinical experience, and didactic learning.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Conduct individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy under supervision. 
    * Conduct psychosocial intake assessments, under supervision.
    * Conduct risk assessments as needed, perform triage of crisis situations as they arise, do safety planning with patients when required, and treatment team consultation as necessary. 
    * Maintain all clinical and administrative documentation in accord with clinic policy, regulatory requirements and the profession’s ethical standards.
    * Participate in weekly supervisions, including individual supervisions, testing supervision, and group supervision. 
    * Attend clinical team meetings
    * Make case presentations as required in group supervision and clinical team meetings.
    * Perform psychological testing, write integrated psychological reports, and provide feedback/consultation to the patient and referring provider. 
    * Attend administrative and training staff meetings.
    * Participate in all scheduled didactic seminars/activities.
    * Participate in clinical research.
    * Complete all required institutional learning modules. 
    * Complete evaluations of didactic seminars and supervisors as required
    * Complete other duties as assigned.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree. Enrollment in a doctorate program in either Clinical Psych, Counseling Psych or School Psychology. Letter of Readiness from their program for Internship training.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $30,000-$30,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
