Patient Services Associate-Community Medicine (300 Skillman Ave)
Citrus Heights Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. Citrus Heights Surgery Center is a brand-new, fast-paced multi-specialty, ambulatory surgery environment committed to producing the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
Minimum Experience: 1 Year
ACLS and PALS required
One year experience required in pre/post-operative setting.
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
Ability to function independently in the roles of Pre and/or PACU nurse. Safe decision making skills. Ability to anticipate needs of patients and physicians. Multi-tasking ability a must.
Familiarity with the following specialties: Pain, GI, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry, General.
The Pre-Op PACU nurses provide care and service for duration of patient stay. The RN will be responsible for admitting the patient to pre-op and/or caring for the patient during recovery.
Work hours are Monday – Friday, no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hourly Range: $48 to $65
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
