    Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. The network also includes 12 community medicine sites providing care to disenfranchised New Yorkers, comprehensive HIV services, chemical dependency programs, and a family support center that offers educational, vocational, and other social support programs.     Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Custodian (Warren Street).

    In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the Education Director of the Center, the custodian shall be responsible for working within the framework of Sunset Bay Community Services, NAEYC, DOH, DOE, and ACS policies and procedures.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Ensure all sidewalks, sideways (front and back), and playgrounds are clean daily.
    * Other work responsibilities may be added as needed and required.
    * Organize the household supply closets and outdoor sheds as needed.
    * Complete the maintenance logbook daily.
    * Order household supplies as needed.
    * Ensure the center is clean and well kept at all time.
    * Replace all the bad lights with new ones as needed.
    * Clean all water toys with bleach solution and fill up the water tables with water for all classrooms as needed.
    * Refill paper towels, tissue paper, and toilet paper for the classrooms and bathrooms as needed.
    * Vacuum all carpets in the offices and classrooms daily and wash them as needed.
    * Sweep and mop all the classrooms, offices, hallways, bathrooms, and kitchen daily
    * Refill soap for all soap dispensers in the classrooms and bathrooms as needed.
    * Replace garbage bags for all garbage cans in the offices, classrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and playground daily.
    * Empty all garbage in the offices, classrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and outside garbage daily.
    * Disinfect all adult and children toilets and clean all the mirrors and water sinks in the bathrooms daily
    * Clean windows and doors weekly.
    * Clean office desks & classroom surfaces /counter tops with bleach solution daily.
    * Empty all diaper pals as needed.
    * Water all plants as needed.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Ability to read and write English
    Ability to follow oral & written directions

    Preferred Qualifications:
    High School Diploma,
    Job Related Trainings
    Two years experience in childcare

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $31,200.00 - $31,200.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
