Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director - Beyond Bridges - Bilingual Proficiency in Spanish is Preferred. Beyond Bridges is a transformative initiative to galvanize the health and wellness of diverse populations across the NYU Langone HospitalBrooklyn community, creating a dynamic model for community-wide health improvement in Sunset Park that will bridge healthcare delivery and community drivers of health to improve population health and health equity. The Director of Community Health Initiatives will lead clinical community collaborative efforts for the Initiative. The Director is responsible for community engagement, program development, and the oversight of implementation and evaluation of cross-sector, community impact projects focused on health. The Director works with multiple stakeholders to develop work plans, outreach and education materials, and operationalize evaluation and sustainability frameworks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Masters Degree or related experience in public health, education, social services or urban planning. The position requires at least five years experience in building community partnerships, youth development, project leadership, group facilitation, advocacy and facilitating systems change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity and prior experience working with key leaders in SSP community. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong interest in working with a culturally diverse community. Orientation to working within a strength-based approach to developing and implementing services. Affective in fostering a collaborative framework to project implementation across numerous community systems.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $52,387.96 - $87,313.27 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
