Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Have working knowledge of all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC and work on associated systems and equipment. Capable of following manufacturers assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
* Have some knowledge on how to operate chillers, absorbers, Co-Gen
* Have good knowledge of boiler operations and trouble shooting
* Be capable to do some plumbing work valves, traps, etc.
* Know how to and perform water testing and chemical treatment
* Install, maintain and repair pumps, compressor, motors, fans, etc.
* Maintain, repair and adjust heating and cooling systems controls
* Maintain, repair San-I-Pak machine, sterilizers
* Repair different rolling equipment (beds, stretchers, crash carts, etc.)
* Have good knowledge of electrical wiring, capable to replace parts
* Maintain and repair fire alarm system and sprinkler system
* Install and repair hardware on doors, windows, lockers and other equipment
* Maintain and repair carwash, dishwashing machines, kettles, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,934.04 - $71,632.22 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
