    Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operations Manager - Nursing (Tableau and Reporting exp req) - LOH. In this role, the successful candidate under the direction of the Site Leader of Nursing & Patient Care Services, manages, plans, and executes operational projects for the Departments of Nursing and Patient Care Services at NYU Langone Health. Works to improve collaboration, communication, and implementation of sustainable labor and capital improvement projects within the hospital and supports the Departments of Nursing and Patient Care Services Operations by contributing to the development, implementation, and success of hospital-wide operational projects and initiatives.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Plan and manage nursing and patient care services operations projects as determined by the Asst. Director of Business Operations & the VP of Nursing & Patient Care Services. Assemble and maintain project plans and documentation of project progress using standardized project management tools, in accordance with NYU Langone Health guidelines. Coordinate project communication with impacted areas across the enterprise and develop applicable process and outcome metrics to measure project success. Perform ad hoc data analysis and track key milestones to support project planning and implementation.
    * Supervise and manage clerical staff.
    * Facilitate definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements. Create and maintain project work plans. Revises plans as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements.
    * Monitor and maintain staffing requirements, variation and projections for the Department of Nursing & Patient Care Services operations.
    * Implement process redesigns to improve staff efficiency.
    * Serve as a subject matter expert for financial operations aspects for Nursing Leadership.
    * Facilitate data requests, analyze data and develop reports that monitor and track key labor and capital spends against target.
    * Monitor and track capital equipment purchasing needs for the Department.
    * Design and complete complex analysis to inform leadership decision making regarding Departments of Nursing and Patient Care Services operations/financial performance.
    * Support Hospital Operations Project Management Office (HOPMO) as a liaison to Nursing for strategic initiatives and key projects.
    * Coordinate staffing, budgeting and finance communication between Nursing, Operations, MCIT and Finance.
    

    Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare clinical operations or finance. Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project Professional, Tableau; familiarity with other databases and analytic tools a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills applicable to a wide variety of audiences. Preferred Qualifications:
    Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree, Project Management Institute Certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $94,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
