    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager-Social Work.

    In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of psychotherapy services provided by social workers within the Psychiatry Associates Faculty Group Practice (FGP).

    Job Responsibilities:

    •Manage, coordinate and participate in activities of social workers engaged in providing psychotherapy services to patients in the Psychiatry Associates Faculty Group Practice.

    • In coordination with the Psychology Director and the Medical Director, plan utilization of available social workers and assign cases when needed.

    • Arrange consultations for acute referrals when necessary.

    • Assist less experienced social workers for the targeted treatment of complex, difficult cases.

    • Oversee group development to ensure the Psychiatry Associates FGP is meeting the needs of its patients and upholding clinical practice standards.

    • Responsible for the recruitment, vetting and approval of new LMSW’s and LCSW’s.

    • Collaborate with the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs/Psychiatry Chief of Service and Medical Director and Psychology Director to help develop a comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation and treat.

    * Performs other duties as assigned.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) licensed in New York State.
    Must have Psychotherapy "R" Privilege in New York State (R is a reimbursable Psychotherapist)
    3 to 5 Years experience in a management position, strong leadership and communication skills.

    Required Licenses: Lic Master Social Worker, Lic Clinical Social Worker

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $97,589.96 - $162,649.75 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
