    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Manager.

    The Collective WELL Program Manager role will play an integral role in the success of a diverse research portfolio that aims to equitably improve health and well-being among diverse populations across the lifespan. The Collective WELL research program uses epidemiology to identify positive, community-level psychosocial constructs that are health-promoting and then applies community-engaged implementation science approaches to design, implement, and study the effects of community-based interventions to improve health and well-being. Example projects include: developing a novel well-being adjusted life year metric; understanding the independent contribution of collective well-being on protection from cardiovascular disease over and above that of individual well-being; assessing race/ethnic differences in levels of well-being; optimizing the implementation of a community-clinic linkage to improve population health and well-being. The Collective WELL Program Manager at NYU Langone will work closely with Brita Roy, MD, MPH, MHS, and will be responsible for supporting, promoting and coordinating the implementation, development, delivery and evaluation of projects across the Collective WELL research program. Of note, the Collective WELL team spans multiple public, non-profit, private, and academic institutions, including Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), Yale School of Medicine, Gallup, Inc., Urban League of Southern Connecticut, and others. As such, the Program Manager will work with internal and external parties to organize the various components and people needed to initiate, run and conclude major programs and projects. The Program Manager will support, promote and coordinate the development of research programs (gathering, collecting and analysis data); facilitate the administration process of departmental activities (e.g., recruiting and on boarding process, maintaining records, compiling and monitoring the master schedule for meetings, grant writing and submission, developing annual budgets, scheduling meetings, organizing and coordinating seminars, training programs and other related activities).

    Job Responsibilities:

    * _Site Management and Coordination_ : Coordinate and track effort / decisions across sub-awards, co-investigators (Co-Is) and consultants; Coordinate duties with project staff at the CCHMC, Yale, and other sites according to the project; Create agendas and co-lead weekly project and research assistant meetings; Ensure quality of data collection protocols and implementation
    * _Lab Upkeep_ : IT requests, facilities requests, onboarding staff (NIRS access, door access, direct deposit); Travel / calendar / other organization: Doodle polls, book meeting rooms, catering, etc.; Website / social media: Create website for Collective WELL and post social media content, update publications and news press, liaison with IT and webteam, update new collaborators /staff / students
    * _Personnel_ : Post, interview, and complete paperwork for all interns, staff, students, and new personnel; oversee logistical programming for interns and students; train new staff; Manage Retention and Communication Coordinator
    * _Grant and manuscript preparation_ : Help with literature review, bibliography management, grant writing, creation of figures, formatting, ensure deadlines and specific RFA requirements are met
    * _Grants management_ : Draft yearly progress reports and update publication compliance across all of PI Roy’s projects; Track progress and decisions; Assist Research Financial Manager with budget projections
    * _Data collection and project management_ : Work with PI and Co-Is to create comprehensive protocols; Create assessor manuals; lead trainings; certify assessors; Problem solve and troubleshoot issues in the field, technology and measurement issues, work with staff to correct errors; Create or assist with modification of surveys and their administration; Track and update measures and constructs across time
    * _Data_ : Manage Data Use Agreements (DUA) between institutions; Coordinate and execute data requests to obtain health, social services and other population health and well-being data from a variety of sources, according to specific projects
    * _Institutional Review Board_ : Responsible for IRB initial submission, amendments, and continuing review; Draft protocol and consents for new studies; respond to stipulations
    * _Communication_ : Supports the successful planning and execution of multiple projects for a variety of stakeholders, across multiple institutions. Synthesizes complex information to communicate project deliverables and recommendations to PI and project teams. Develops and fosters communication to facilitate problem-solving, decision-making and collaborative efforts. Effectively communicates and develops a professional level of cooperation across the organization; determining the best approach to drive project success through formal channels and informal networks
    * _Organization_ : Drives projects forward by utilizing project management tools in the development of project plans, monitoring progress, and supporting project teams. Provides support for projects including crafting agendas, identifying key decisions, and tracking action items.
    * Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in public health, business administration, health care administration, or related field. Two years of experience coordinating Programs or programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external organizations. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to manage and to multi task while paying attention to details. Ability to exercise discretion, good independent judgment, and independent thinking in selecting the optimal course of action. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    A graduate degree, preferably in health care administration, business administration, public health, or the equivalent years of experience, is preferred. Preferred candidates will also be knowledgeable in in ClickUp, Tableau, Visio, Access, and Decision Support reporting programs. 3+ years of experience in public health research coordination.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.83 - $88,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
