    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Research Intern. The Student Research Intern will be trained and supervised to assist with conducting preliminary outreach telephone screening calls of potential participants for a trial within the Center for the Study of Alcohol Use Disorder and Traumatic Stress. The Student Research Intern will support additional tasks as needed, including data entry, scheduling/confirmation calls/texts/emails, and assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in developing and adjusting targeted recruitment campaigns as well as participating in meetings with the research team and PI.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct telephone screening of potential participants
    • Assist with data entry
    • Assist with scheduling/confirmation calls, emails, and texts.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be a full-time student majoring in psychology or related field. If working during the summer months (i.e., midMay to midSeptember), must be planning to return to fulltime student status in September.
    • Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with Internet applications.
    • Effective oral, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Time management skills and ability to multitask.
