    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

    NYU Langone Health is currently seeking a Project Manager for the Program for Digital Health Equity within the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity (IEHE). The Project Manager will work within IEHE and the Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) Department of Health Informatics to advance health equity through the development of digital health tools and the implementation of novel health informatics solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and healthcare, expertise in digital health and/or informatics, and a passion for health equity and innovation. The candidate will work well with diverse individuals and teams, internally and externally, and display professional maturity. The role includes managing grant activities, human resources, project oversight, and daily staff management.

    This position will report to Dr. Safiya Richardson, Director of the Program for Digital Health Equity (IEHE), Director of the Division of Digital Health Equity (MCIT), and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Population Health and Medicine. The role will involve close collaboration with faculty, students, and staff members.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the advancement of digital health equity initiatives, aligning them with the overarching goals of IEHE. 
    * Engage in the creation of novel projects and provide supervision throughout the implementation process.
    * Actively pursue available grant opportunities that align with the Program's objectives.
    * Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation.
    * Stay up to date with the current literature in digital health equity research and innovation.
    * Regularly assess project outcomes, collect relevant data, and create comprehensive reports.
    * Coordinate with MCIT to create project roadmaps that integrate IT solutions seamlessly into the Program's objectives.
    * Act as a liaison between the Program, the MCIT Department of Health Informatics, and other stakeholders such as clinical departments, community partners, and external organizations.
    * Work with staff to plan meetings and meeting agendas. 
    * Create consistent and streamlined operational policies and procedures for enhanced efficiency.
    * Ensure adherence to financial and human resources regulations, oversee contract development and review, and manage various administrative duties.
    * Manage budgeting and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    * Provide leadership and direction to the team, including performance management and fostering a positive work culture.
    * Perform other duties as required.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a 1. Bachelors degree or equivalent in health care administration or related discipline.
    2. Minimum of four years progressively responsible related experience coordinating clinical/research trials studies.
    3. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.
    4. Effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
    6. Commitment to continuous learning as required by department administration.
    7. Ability to make decisions independently.
    8. Ability to manage time, multi task and prioritize work.
    9. Strong understanding and knowledge base of coordination requirements associated with clinical/research trials.
    10. Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems; ability to work well under pressure.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $135,541.73 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
