    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Assistant Site Director - OBGYN-IVF. In this role, the successful candidate, under the direction of the Medical Director, and the Site Director, would be responsible for oversight and management of operational and administrative activities, adherence to policies and procedures of the Faculty Group Practice at the NYU Langone Fertility Center site, including satellite locations at NoMad and other sites planned. Collaborate with all partners and functional groups to monitor and optimize operational performance to enhance customer service involving administrative activities. Create a unified/consistent standard for all sites and other initiatives.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    CLINICAL MANAGEMENT

    Assist the Director regarding  day-to-day activities of a multisite practice to include a total of 12+ physicians and 100+  support staff including nursing, laboratory and administrative personnel. 

     

    Responsible for implementation of planning decisions and enforcement of policies and procedures.

     

    Develops and maintains ambulatory policies across all the practice locations. Assists in the development of the practice's vision and strategic plans, as well as executing the recommendations and initiatives.

     

    Assists with Regulatory process including QA meetings, calendar and  safety goals

     

    Assist in troubleshooting institutional issues as they relate to business activities. 

     

    Keep up on regulatory policies and industry changes that may affect the manner in which we conduct business. Disseminate information to staff.

     

    Review and implement updated technologies through approved partners to enhance operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement.

     

    Works with credentialing to onboard new providers.

     

    Manage equipment including supply and asset acquisition, maintenance, end of useful life planning, and

    proposals for new/replacement items. Monitors Quality Assurance

     

    Works with marketing to develop targeted tools promoting providers and  services.

     

    Collaborate with facilities to operationalize new space and renovations. Develop orientation and training

    programs for new staff.

     

    Meet regularly with Faculty Group Practice leadership to report operating and financial results.

     

    Collaboratively  responsible for implementing business plan components and monitoring achievement of benchmarks and goals.

     

    FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

     

    Participates in financial management including participation in business development and facilitating the accomplishment of RVU targets. Analyze impediments to revenue enhancement.

     

    Leads others in accomplishing optimal clinical operations within FGP's standards.

     

    Maintains web based information for providers in patient access.

    Works with FGP clinical leadership to ensure all requirements are met for accreditations and certifications.

    Monitors inbaskets and open encounters to ensure outstanding items are addressed in a timely manner.

     

    Establishes call triage plans leveraging local resources  and call center where appropriate.

     

    Oversees patient satisfaction results and adjusts work flows to address issues as needed.

     

    Develops staffing models consistent with practice standards and optimal customer service. Oversee and manage any required training programs on policies and procedures to maintain standardization amongst the FGP. Works closely with Directors, Administrative Practice Managers, Epic Operations, Central Billing Office and the Revenue Integrity team to identify opportunities to improve the revenue cycle via front end processes.

     

     

    . Partner with Administrator(s) with regard to clinical operations of assigned sites. Oversees the clinical and administrative information systems in collaboration with the FGP and SOM Information Technology

     

    Oversees the business office functions of the practice and serves contact with vendors. Reconcile and process vendor payments with A/P

     

    Plans, develops, directs and monitors initiatives to improve revenue cycle processes and productivity. Implement

    and optimize template management per Department policies.

     

    Selects, assigns, supervises and evaluates administrative  staff; oversees personnel administration with human resources department; carries out disciplinary action as necessary.

     

    Plans, develops,directs and monitors initiatives to improve patient care.

     

     

    Collaborates with the Facility Managers to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and employees, including the development of emergency action plans.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years' experience in medical practice management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a large multi-specialty group practice or academic medical center;

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: NYU Langone systems knowledge.
