    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Chain Management FGP Site Leader (Long Island locations).

    In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for overseeing the supply chain activity for the FGP practice locations specifically the NYU Winthrop locations. Assist with supply chain activity for other FGP locations as necessary. Works closely with site managers and their designated supply chain staff relative to overseeing all supply inventory and requirements. In conjunction with Corporate Supply Chain, discusses all purchasing related plans and needs. Reviews pending requisition orders and ensures each site follows corporate supply chain governance and protocols. The responsibilities listed below are those considered to be essential but do not represent all of the job functions that may be required to be performed by this position.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Determines and establishes the explanation to complex calls, issues and questions not covered by specific instructions or common practice.
    * Evaluate inventory workflows in each Ambulatory site, providing guidance and direction in efficiency and waste management as well as feedback to the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
    * Provide training, education, and updates on the PeopleSoft Inventory Management system to local Ambulatory sites.
    * Schedule, at minimum, monthly visitation rotation of designated FGP sites to oversee the day to day operations of ordering, back order issues, constraint items, and process improvement.
    * Routinely monitor effectiveness of the PeopleSoft Inventory Management system and cost savings.
    * Review, verify and approve all local purchase requisitions; develop and determine the best purchasing/sourcing approach.
    * Strong understanding of who NYU Langone Health’s preferred suppliers are, what contracts are in place and in what ways they can be accessed.
    * Assist with the monitoring and determination of effective and efficient supplier performance, reporting any issues to the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
    * Work with the Central Billing Office to ensure all high dollar inventory items are billing billed and collected properly.
    * Assist in-house departments with information around their needs for goods or services and in planning for future or current contracting needs.
    * Coordinate supplier activity within the practice to ensure they follow any NYU Langone Health Supply Chain protocol around supplier access to key decision makers in the practice.
    * Monitor the issuing and approvals for all purchase requisitions and changes utilizing PeopleSoft.
    * Conduct various checks and balances for all information contained within PeopleSoft relative to the local Ambulatory practices.
    * Maintain all inventory and PAR stock locations for Ambulatory practices.
    * Participates in on-going training/development/monitoring of staff by the office.
    * Organizes, prioritizes and expedites own workflow and uses independent judgment.
    * Maintains accurate, well-organized, up to date files for retrieval of needed documentation.
    * Receives, compiles, classifies, reconciles and consolidates data from varied sources.
    * Assist with outlining and optimizing the most effective usage of pharmaceuticals and injectable medications (buy and bill or specialty pharmacy).
    * Works with each practice to outline and understand their complete supply chain process and work to help outline improved workflows, including identifying a supply chain lead in each practice.
    * Works and assists with designing inventory management processes and systems to optimize inventory utilization.
    * Meets or exceeds internal standards for accuracy and timeliness in charge documentation preparation and submission.
    * Recognizes routine problems and recommends suggestions, ideas and solutions.
    * Assists in training office personnel regarding supplies, ordering, inventory and any other aspect of supply chain.
    * Compiles data, metrics and tracking of information related to supplies at each assigned location and/or region.
    * Works closely with site managers and assigned supply chain staff at each location to train, educate and oversee their supply chain activities. 
    * Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination or training and relevant work experience. Ability to work in a fast paced multi-physician practice environment. Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and patients.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.83 - $93,600.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
