    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a HCM Lead Techno-Functional Analyst.

    In this pivotal role, you will be a seasoned professional with a deep functional understanding of HCM systems, complemented by robust technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include mentoring less-experienced staff, guiding their development in HCM functional, technical, and analytical domains, and serving as a vital Corporate Systems advocate. As a key leader, you will spearhead automation initiatives and act as the primary functional and technical expert supporting the Human Resource user community. This role requires you to translate complex user requirements into well-engineered, tested, and effectively deployed business application solutions. A proactive approach to requirement elicitation, business process analysis, and a strong commitment to delivering customer-first solutions are essential. You will be instrumental in ensuring all projects and solutions are executed with empathy, outstanding communication skills, and a clear understanding of the practical applications from the customer's perspective, thus driving innovation and operational efficiencies in our HCM systems.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Corporate Systems Advocacy: Serve as a leading representative for Corporate Systems, spearheading automation initiatives and supporting strategic technological advancements. 
    
    * Functional and Technical Expertise: Act as the primary expert for the Human Resource user community on HCM systems for Core HCM modules, providing comprehensive support and advice. 
    
    * Innovative Solution Development: Translate complex user requirements into practical, well-engineered, tested, and effectively deployed business application solutions. Utilize advanced technologies like AI/ML, GenAI, and Cloud integrations to drive innovation. 
    
    * Proactive Requirement Elicitation: Actively gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and business process analysis, addressing business and stakeholder needs comprehensively. 
    
    * Business Process Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and improve existing processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in HR systems. 
    
    * Customer-First Solutions: Prioritize user-centric solutions, ensuring user needs and experiences drive all technological developments. 
    
    * Empathetic and Effective Communication: Employ empathy and maintain clear, timely communication with users, peers, and leadership. 
    
    * Exploration of Emerging Technologies: Continually explore new technologies such as AI/ML, General AI, Cloud integrations, and automation for innovative problem-solving. 
    
    * Adherence to Standards and Procedures: Strictly follow department standard methodologies and procedures, including change control, to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in all processes and solutions. 
    
    * Effective and Timely Communication: Consistently communicate effectively and promptly with peers, leadership, and customers, ensuring clarity and transparency 
    
    * Mentorship and Development: Guide and mentor less-experienced staff in HCM's functional, technical, and analytical aspects. 
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
    At least 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and People Tools 8.56+.
    Strong experience in systems design, solution development, testing, deployment and support of HCM applications including Core HR, Compensation, Talent Development, and related modules.
    Strong understanding of PeopleSoft tables and data structures, and proficiency in PeopleSoft Tools like App Designer, Security, PS Query, SQL to develop Pages, reports, integrations.
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of analytical practices.
    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    Excellent Documentation skills using business flows, mock-ups etc.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in HCM Cloud implementations (Workday or Oracle).
    Experience in an Academic Medical Center.
    Familiarity with Cloud technologies, Integrations Tools, Analytics and Data Visualizations Tools.
    Experience in data conversion and migration of PeopleSoft Applications.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $152,407.61 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
