POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Digital Product Manager - MyWall. In this role, the successful Associate Digital Product Manager - MyWall candidate This is an opportunity to join NYU Langone Healths cutting-edge digital team as an Associate Digital Product Manager. You will be a part of a large healthcare organization, but in a department whose culture is similar to that in tech. This team is responsible for improving the patient digital experience, through the conception, development, and launch of products and features for MyWall, a rapidly expanding digital tool in our hospitals and outpatient locations. MyWall improves the patient experience by offering patient entertainment, patient chart access, meal ordering for inpatient locations, and other capabilities. NYU Langone has heavily invested in digital capabilities and innovation across patient, workforce, research, and clinical experience areas. To design, engineer, and deliver innovative products in the digital health landscape, we are looking for an Associate Digital Product Manager. Associate Product Managers at NYU Langone are expected to have a digital product development background, UX sensibility, and the ability to meaningfully contribute to the design and delivery of custom, SAAS, and enterprise solutions. The MyWall Associate Product Manager is expected to apply knowledge of engineering and computer science to the design and development of MyWall for our health system. You will report to the Senior Product Manager of MyWall Expansion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          Individual contributor who executes parts of NYU Langone digital strategy.
•        Contributes to the development and implementation of MyWall software applications to improve the patient experience at our health system.
•        Maintains and communicates the MyWall Expansion plan and roadmap with the Senior Product Manager, escalating issues and blockers.
•        Applies engineering and computer science principles and background to the design, development, and implementation of the MyWall system.
•        Analyzes stakeholder and customer needs to inform product roadmap and feature development for MyWall.
•        Utilizes product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Clickup, etc.) to document requirements,  acceptance criteria, and progress against Expansion plans.
•        Reviews and analyzes new requests to determine recommendations and next steps.
•        Contributes to development of useful solutions to problems by collaborating as needed with cross-functional partners across the organization (Telecom, Campus Transformation, Network Engineering,                   Operations, Communications, Clinical, Security, Design) and across IT product areas.
•        Helps manage roadblocks and timelines with product leadership and technical team.
•        Proactively simplifies and continuously improves existing processes to operate more efficiently. Serves as an informal leader for change management across key projects.
•        Provides operational support for products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree. 2+ years of experience working as part of a digital product team. Experience working as part of an agile product development team. Advanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Experience writing requirements for custom software development (e.g., user stories, testable acceptance criteria) Demonstrated ability to apply judgment within defined parameters Experience using data and analytics to inform recommendations and decision-making. Experience integrating user and stakeholder feedback to shape products and features. Displays in-depth knowledge of end user goals and pain points.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to navigate through distributed teams to get things done. Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledgeable about user experience. Displays emotional intelligence. Able to function well in an autonomous environment. Passion for healthcare.
