    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate will support Network Integration and its initiatives across NYU Langone Health System by managing assigned projects under the general supervision of the Program Manager, as it relates to the development and implementation of new and ongoing programs and initiatives within the department.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under general supervision, manage assigned projects, including scoping out project, identifying goals and objectives and creating project plans that support the initiative.
    • Responsible for managing project progress to ensure key milestones are met. Escalates larger risk factors as needed to management with recommended solutions.
    • Coordinate project communication with impacted areas across the enterprise and partnered organizations.
    • Provides administrative support for Network Integration led senior meetings, including minutes, agendas, reminders, and follow up items. Organize and facilitate project meetings.
    • Develops and amends project plans and documentation as needed throughout the project, adapting the approach, timelines and deliverables as needed based on foreseen and unforeseen events to ensure the success of the projects.
    • Manages key components of Quality of Care projects, including but not limited to analyzing various data points from EPIC, projecting future patterns, and makes recommendations as needed.
    • Collaborates with various stakeholders within and outside of the department, building and promoting positive working relationships.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s degree.

    Demonstrated ability to lead and support a wide array of projects to successful conclusion.

    Excellent analytical, research, organizational skills, confidence, versatility and initiative. 

    Strong computer skills and facility with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project; familiarity with other databases and analytic tools a plus.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for broad and diverse audiences.

    Basic knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, healthcare reform, and delivery of care.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in health care related field with, two years of progressive health care experience Knowledge of project management tools
