    USPI BAYLOR MEDICAL CENTER AT TROPHY CLUB, is seeking a motivated CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR II to join our team. Located just west of Grapevine, TX off of Highway 114, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club has been a top choice for local physicians that serves all people through exemplary health care and community service. We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site.

     

    JOB SUMMARY: The Credentialing Coordinator II verifies the professional licensing, training, and certifications of professional medical staff at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Trophy Club. The primary goal is to ensure healthcare professionals and services meet all established federal and state standards, as well as The Joint Commission standards. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Credentialing Coordinator II works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals according to the bylaws and The Joint Commission and CMS requirements. All functions related to the credentialing, privileging, and processes to accommodate practitioners applying for or maintaining privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Trophy Club.

     

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, business correspondence and memos. • Ability to write complex correspondence. • Ability to effectively present information in group situations to patients, physicians and other employees of the organization. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. • Strong computer knowledge and technical skills; specifically, with Excel • Knowledge of Credentialing software is critical • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. • Independent decision-making skills • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the policies and guidelines, facility credentialing plan and Bylaws and the accreditation/credentialing standards established by JCAHO, AAAHC, NCQA, and HCFA

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A minimum of five (5) years credentialing experience working with a hospital medical staff or clinical environment Bachelor’s degree Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred or able to complete within one (1) year.

     

    _USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.  If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.  If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law. _
