Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of CBO Onboarding & Strategic Initiatives, the Portal Administrative Manager is responsible for the oversight and administration of all internal and external computer system access within the Central Billing Office (CBO). This includes but is not limited to payer portal access, payer enrollments, and the integration of new RCM systems to allow for electronic transmissions. The Portal Administrative Manager will work with multiple departments to ensure overall administration and compliance of the RCM functions in all systems used by the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees a team responsive for EFT/ERA/ECS Enrollments.
- Completes initial setup for client enrollment and user access in all business systems.
- Updates and manages all requests for internal systems and payer portal access by users.
- Establishes and maintains a quarterly audit of access reviews of all internal systems and payer portals.
- Responsible for complete database management of all internal systems and payer portals.
- Acts as liaison between the CBO and outside vendors to ensure the complete set up for EDI, ERA and EFT files.
- Reports monthly to Management on the status of all EDI/ERA/EFT applications and enrollments to ensure the ratio of electronic to manual claims and cash posting processes is within the targeted goals.
- Works with the Denial Management team members to resolve issues for claims denied for provider access.
- Coordinates with the IT department to provide the access and set up for all relevant billing systems and portal accesses for all new hires, outside vendors, as well as remove access for those individuals no longer with the organization.
- Provide ongoing training and trending communications to clients and staff to improve overall system outcomes.

Required Skills
Requirements:
- 3+ years of ASC RCM experience in a healthcare with Ambulatory Surgical Center or Outpatient hospital experience preferred.
- Understand clearinghouse functions.
- Organized, detailed, and able to handle competing priorities while meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize the most important activities daily in order to maximize time spent on open items.
- Ability to adapt to increased workload.
- A team player who performs well independently and is strongly self-motivated.
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret data to make organizational, planning, and problem-solving decisions.
- Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients.
- Knowledge or experience working with a variety of health care insurance payers is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
- Advantx, SIS Complete, GMed, Vision, HST, Waystar experience preffered.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
