    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator.

    The New York University Grossman School of Medicine's Center for Healthful Behavior Change, housed in the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity, is leading a new initiative that involves partnerships with several large health care centers including the Family Health Centers at NYULH and NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. The purpose of this project is to guide the implementation of a maternal health community implementation project. We will engage diverse health system stakeholders and community partners in learning hubs, study implementation, and best practice dissemination with the goal of improving maternal health outcomes and reducing maternal health disparities in the New York City catchment area. We are seeking candidates with research interests in maternal health, health equity, and dissemination and implementation science, with an emphasis on community engagement. Candidates will join a robust transdisciplinary team and other scientists. Overall, this position will entail moderate to advanced coordination of activities that includes but not limited: coordination while working/communicating with internal and external parties to organize and coordinate the various components needed to develop, execute and conclude activities. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and make decisions and recommendations that create meaningful impact on the research.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Develop relevant documents for study implementation (e.g. Protocols, Manual of Operations, SOPs)
    * Build and maintain relationships with key external partners
    * Serve as project liaison to coordinate all aspects of service delivery and compliance with external healthcare systems and community partners
    * Organize and oversee submission of protocols involving human subjects/Institutional Review Board review 
    * Develop project workflows and timelines 
    * Troubleshoot challenges with study implementation
    * Interface with study participants as needed including recruitment, screening and participant visits
    * Schedule and coordinate activities, meetings, and special events
    * Conduct internal monitoring and tracking of project activities for monthly progress and ensure timely reporting of deliverables
    * Prepare and review documents including PowerPoint presentations, agendas, letters, and abstracts for scientific meetings
    * Travel across NYC (Note: travel to Staten Island is not required)
    * Performs other job-related tasks and projects as assigned
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field. Two years of experience coordinating Project/Programs or programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Fluency in Spanish. Familiarity with nutrition and maternal health. Proficiency in using REDCap. Skills in project management. Experiencing conducting community-engaged research

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,500.00 - $69,628.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
