    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    We have an exciting opportunity to join NYU Langone Health's Voice & Swallowing Center as Radiologic Technologist.

    In this role, a successful candidate will be responsible for properly setting up equipment and positioning patient to produce a high quality image.

     

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly.

    • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients under supervision of MD.

    • Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.

    • Ability to operate a C-Arm

    • Prepares room and patient per order, properly sets up equipment, position patients, and determine proper exposure factors in order to produce a high quality image.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    To qualify you must have a Radiologic Tech license -NYS.

    REQUIRED LICENSES: Radiologic Tech License - NYS
