    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Simulation Operations Associate. The primary function of the Simulation Operations Associate (SOA) is to support the delivery of an on-site or off-site simulation activity. The Simulation Operations Associate reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations.

     

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • Adhere to NYSIM Policy & Procedures
    • Maintain proficiency in existing and emerging technologies through the guidance of peers and leadership
    • Integrate strategic goals into daily activities
    • Ensure safe and appropriate use of center resources (space, equipment and software)
    • Educate faculty on equipment and space utilization and software, as needed and appropriate
    • Participate in relevant internal and external meetings
    • Close facilities as per Standard Operating Procedure
    • Open facilities as per Standard Operating Procedure
    • Maintain inventory as per Standard Operating Procedure
    • Maintain rooms as per Standard Operating Procedure
    • Maintain equipment as per Standard operating Procedure
    • Escalate to leadership as necessary (i.e. issues, concerns, faculty questions, feedback)
    • Welcome and support programs; acknowledge by greeting faculty and introduce yourself by telling the faculty your first and last name; explain support the program and contact method for the duration of the program.
    • Breakdown for programs: space, equipment and software
    • Set up for programs: space, equipment and software

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree and/or two to three years of relevant experience. Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills. Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse population and as part of a team.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous work experience in healthcare.
