POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director-Anatomic Pathology Operations. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of the day-to-day operations for the Anatomic Pathology laboratories at Tisch Hospital, ACC, LOH, Perlmutter Cancer Center, and NYUL Brooklyn (as it relates to Tisch technical processing). Specific laboratory areas include: Accessioning, Gross Pathology, Histopathology/Immunohistochemistry, Renal Pathology, Cytology, Hematopathology, and Cytogenetics. This includes workflow assessment, Quality Assurance, regulatory compliance, procedure development, validation oversight, personnel management, and financial and contract management.

PREFERRED LICENSES: Clinical Lab Technologist-NYS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree in management, business, public health, laboratory sciences or a related field. 5-7 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting with management responsibilities. Previous experience in Histology and Immunohistochemistry. ASCP Certification. Knowledge of Epic Beaker application.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $106,229.95 - $177,049.92 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
