    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Molecular Technologist.

    In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex clinical laboratory tests on specimens for diagnostic purposes.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Responsible for performing complex clinical laboratory tests on specimens for diagnostic purposes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a program registered by the NYS Department of Education or Bachelor's Degree in the major of biology, chemistry or physical sciences from an accredited college or university.
    • License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the State of New York based on the on the Special Provision of the Regulations of the Commissioner in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Technology Practice Act.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical biochemistry laboratory required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
    • Above average knowledge or expertise in dealing with scientific principles involved in the methodology performed; as well as alternative methodologies and their application to a given situation.

    Required Licenses: Clinical Lab Technologist-NYS

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Proficient computer skills. ASCP registry preferred. Multitasking abilities and flexibility are a plus

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99,292.30 - $119,978.52 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
