    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Project Manager-Transformation. In this role, the successful candidate as a manager on the Transformation team, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of multiple Supply Chain projects. Essential to your success will be your ability to build strong relationships, achieve buy in with key stakeholders, influence others, timely and effective communication with all levels of the NYU team, and manage successful handoffs to departmental owners. This position will report directly to the Sr Director Value Analysis and Transformation.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Meet with customers, internal and external to Supply Chain, to understand pain points and opportunities.
    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
    • Know how to get things done, both through formal channels and informal networks.
    • Relate well to all kinds of people at all levels, inside and outside of the organization.
    • Mentor junior staff members on project management skill set.
    • Determine financial impact of projects and create business cases as needed.
    • Develop professional cooperation across the organization to complete work team activities.
    • Schedule and facilitate project meetings and effectively communicate status reports.
    • Conduct leadership updates on projects, funnel, opportunities, wins, financial impacts, KPIs, and concerns.
    • Motivate and inspire team to successfully complete tasks.
    • Create, develop, and maintain project plans.
    • Lead change through creating a shared need, shaping a vision, mobilizing commitment, making change last, and monitoring progress.
    • Successfully manage large, high profile, complex, cross functional projects through to completion.
    • Manage efforts and resources through open conversations with leadership.
    • Prioritize opportunities using multiple factors and a cross functional team.
    • Manage opportunity funnel and expectations of requestors.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Health Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, change management, business transformation, or related field with progressive responsibilities. Demonstrated track record of success in operations management, people management and achieving outcomes across a broad scope of responsibilities. Strong leadership, team building and management skills. Ability to handle critical issues and solve problems in a complex environment. Preferred experience in an integrated delivery network (IDN) or other large health care system. Preferred PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or Change Management certification.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $88,524.96 - $95,712.75 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
