    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Associate I. The role of research associate is to assist the Supervisor in the execution of the project for which she/he has been hired.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain records of all time worked and stay within the designated time allocation.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Administer/fulfill all tasks assigned by the Supervisor. The research project, recruit subjects, collect data, analyze data, present data and comply with all requirements.
    • Prepare written reports and updates for the Supervisor, as requested, documenting progress of ongoing tasks, research progress, in writing and/or verbally through the conclusion of the project.
    • Present research findings and/or departmental accomplishments at departmental meetings, scientific meetings, and/or prepare abstracts and manuscripts for presentation and publication.
    • Record and maintain log of all project activity, correspondence, meeting minutes and back up of all records related to work performed in a manner detailed by the Supervisor and in accordance with NYULH policies and procedures.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a related field or Ergonomics and Biomechanics

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An advance degree or enrollment in a program toward an advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a related field or Ergonomics and Biomechanics.
