    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Space Management Coordinator.

    Reporting to the Assistant Director of Space Planning and Management, the Space Management Coordinator is responsible for the definition, analysis, concept development, and production of planning and predesign studies that meet a broad range of NYULH objectives, including research facilities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * The Space Planning Coordinator is responsible for supporting the building, maintenance and update of the NYULH Space Inventory, a computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) system integrating CAD documents and a relational database of properties owned or leased by NYU Langone Health (NYULH).
    * Assuring completeness and accuracy of the Space Inventory to reflect current real estate portfolio; and assisting the Department of Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED&F) in general space planning, space information management and reporting in the context of NYULH's overall strategic plan.
    * Tracking and coordinating space requests and program requirements; supporting the Campus Planning Office in developing and producing reports and plans for test-fits and feasibility studies for space planning or capital projects.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    • Three years' experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
    • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and/or database management required
    • Must be fluent in relevant software and possess excellent communication skills and graphic proficiency
    • Ability to maintain a close attention to detail and multi- task in a fast-paced environment
    • Some understanding of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) is key to job performance
    • Basic Qualifications; Archibus/Overlay v. 14, AutoCAD 2000 or above, MS Access, MS Excel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in space planning, facilities management, space information management, or architecture preferred.
    • Adobe Photoshop, preferred but not required
    • Experience with academic, healthcare, research facility/laboratory, or space planning preferred

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $63,935.04 - $85,987.20 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
