POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Director of Secure Solutions Assurance In this role, the successful candidate Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Associate Director of Secure Solutions Assurance is responsible for advising on, assessing, and supporting the secure architecture of technology and application deployments to proactively identify risks through security assurance validation and architectural design; enabling NYU Langone Health to become a world class integrated academic medical center and a nationally acknowledged leader in IT. Key responsibilities are outlined below and overtime additional responsibilities may be added to the position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrates broad knowledge across multiple technologies including but not limited to, end user computing, data center security, medical devices, perimeter security, security analytics, cloud security, security monitoring tools and technologies, security solution architecture and governance. Deep knowledge of cyber security technologies related to Secure internet gateways, DDOS protection, Email Security, Two factor authentication, Perimeter Security, Threat intelligence, Privileged access management, Active Directory, security remote sites, campus wide network, Wireless security. Specific experience in architecting solutions using F5, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Ironport, Infoblox, DUO, Splunk, Anomali a plus. Experience in evaluating, architecting and managing security in cloud environments like AWS, Google cloud Environment, Azure. Industry experience with multiple vendors as well as having connectivity with various forums and experts. Knowledge of developing, setting and driving standards while operationalizing various technologies. Ability to work across disciplines and in a matrix environment to deliver results through influence. Demonstrates tech leadership for the respective technologies. Demonstrates collaborative leadership and be the advocate for MCIT. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE B.S. degree in information systems, computer science or related field 15+ years in technology management in related specialties with intimate knowledge of cyber security technologies. Industry Certifications a plus: (CISA, CISSP, HITRUST etc.) Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives Industry vendor knowledge and established relationships Effective speaker, collaborative worker and good writing skills Able to translate complex technical information and implications in business oriented language Experience with architecture review board governance structure Knowledge of TOGAF. LEAN, ITIL, NIST, and ISO.
