POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Scientist.
The Krogsgaard lab is seeking a highly motivated research scientist. The ideal candidate will have experience in an immunology laboratory and will be able to drive independent immunotherapy-focused project(s) and manage junior lab members. This full-time role will focus on in vivo mouse work, tissue culture, molecular and cellular characterization and assay development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a MS degree and 2-4 years of experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: MS/PhD in immunology/molecular biology preferred. Substantial experience from having completed Post Doc training. Established a record of publications. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Attention to detail and careful record-keeping Small animal techniques; ie; injection, euthanasia, colony management/breeding Flow cytometry, ELISA, basic microscopy In vitro mammalian cell culture techniques Powerpoint, excel, prism, word processing, flowjo analysis software Cloning Grant writing, protocol writing Excellent communication skills
