    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Secretary II.

    In this role, the successful candidate meets and greets patients, check in patients, create a medical chart and or pull chart for follow up. Copy medical records and review that EHS forms are completely filled out. Make appointments for volunteers, House staff and or credentialing physicians. File labs and file folders, fax medical record request forms. Prepares pre-employment packets. Ability to handle busy office.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Meets and greets patients, check in patients,
    • create a medical chart and or pull chart for follow up.
    • Copy medical records and review that EHS forms are completely filled out
    • Make appointments for volunteers, House staff and or credentialing physicians.
    • File labs and file folders
    • fax medical record requests
    • Prepares pre-employment packets
    • Ability to handle busy office.
    • Ability to distinguish patients requiring immediate attention from routine visits andcommunicate same to the clinician.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • High School diploma
    • Three years of relevant medical clerical experience
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Background in computer literacy preferred
    • Light, accurate keyboarding skills required
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills required

     

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
