Coastal Endoscopy Center has an immediate need for a full time Scope Washer Endo Tech to join the team!

Job Summary: The Scope Washer Endo Tech is responsible for the preparation of equipment and supplies used for endoscopy scope reprocessing environment in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Policies and Procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prior to the start of the reprocessing process of scopes for the day: * The Scope technician well check equipment to assure appropriate working order * Assist Pre-op with patient flow * Keep accurate logs of scope reprocessing maintenance * Order reprocessing supplies and send out scopes for repairs
2. After the endoscopy procedure is completed the technician will: * Clean endoscope * Dispose of soiled linen and trash * Wipe all surfaces with antiseptic solution
3. Maintain cleaning log for endoscopes
4. Assist with restocking of supplies in endoscopy unit
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment
6. Provide flexible staffing hours to meet patient care needs
7. Assist in other areas as needed

Required Skills

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• One year experience in an endoscopy environment preferred.
