    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager, Operations-Supply Chain.

    In this role, the successful candidate as the Manager, Operations-Supply Chain on the Operations, Planning & Implementation (OPI) team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain by working proactively to minimize supply constraints from occurring and by ensuring efficient inventory management. This role will oversee the calculation of the supply risk and optimal inventory levels, including NYULHs safety stock program. The Manager will incorporate the use of internal and external data in their analysis, interpretation of results, and development of action plan. Strong communication skills are critical to the success of this role as this role will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to meet their goals and objectives. This position will report directly to the Sr Manager, OPI and will have 1 direct report (Supply Analyst).

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Supervise the cross-functional, end-to end, item add and replenishment processes, including the safety stock program.
    * Manage optimal inventory targets, incorporating knowledge of outliers, exclusions, and variations.
    * Communicate daily with Logistics regarding safety stock inventory levels and operational concerns.
    * Monitor primary and substitute item inventory, facilitating conversion back to primary item.
    * Oversee forecast needs and works closely with suppliers to plan for current and future demand.
    * Collaborate with key stakeholders both internally and externally to meet goals and objectives.
    * Develop and implements solutions to issues identified with a proactive approach.
    * Analyze proactive reporting from external parties to identify trends and opportunities.
    * Collaborate with suppliers to hedge again supply risk and create a continuity of supply.
    * Create, maintain, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    * Present pertinent data to leadership on a routine basis.
    * Participate in cross functional projects within Supply Chain.
    * Escalate urgent issues to leadership as needed.
    * Other duties as assigned.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:

    To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree and minimum of five years of experience or the equivalent or a combination of education.

    Knowledge of the manufacturing component and the operational aspect of the related equipment.
    Be computer literate.
    Must have the ability to problem solve and possess good judgment and decision-making skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Three years management experience in a Supply Chain related role.
    Experience with supplier/end user relations and supply chain management technologies.
    Experience working in fast paced environments; proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.
    Strong project/process management experience with a focus on inventory.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.00-$135,542.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
