Physician Assistant or APRN needed full time for busy orthopedic hand surgeon in North Oklahoma City

• Weekday hours, no call, no weekends, no major holidays

**Job Summary
** We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or APRN to join Dr. Cogar's medical team

The APRN or Physician Assistant will work closely with physician and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes, utilizing advanced EMR systems and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Experience in orthopedics is highly valued, along with proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat new and follow-up patients in a clinic setting
• Take medical histories, initiating and completing patient assessment plans
• Order laboratories and diagnostic studies
• Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests
• Order and prescribe appropriate medications, and maintain timely documentation
• Complete discharge summaries as requested by physician

Requirements

• APRN License or PA-C License in the State of Oklahoma required
• Experience in an orthopedic surgeon office a plus
• EHR experience (Epic) preferred but not required
• Must be a positive team player who is organized, self motivated, dependable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
