Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Director, IT Sourcing & Contract Management MCIT.
In this role, the successful candidate as the Associate Director, Sourcing & Contract Management MCIT, will report to the Chief Procurement Officer, within the Supply Chain Management function. This role will work closely with IT leadership team and other departments to lead the strategic sourcing/contract review efforts for all MCIT hardware, systems, IT related services and software. This candidate will have a deep understanding of technology solutions, and its associated marketplace and supply chain, to ensure that NYULH obtains the most favorable total costs and terms in support of its mission. He/She/They will become our resident expert to develop a strategic approach to identify, evaluate, select and contract for all MCIT products and related services. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader, able to build and engage a high performing team of Sourcing and Contract Management professionals; create clear roles & accountabilities and establish a holistic workflow to provide timely support to end users.
Job Responsibilities:
* Recommend and execute sourcing strategies for all new hardware, software technology, SAAS agreement, Cloud Technologies, etc. to obtain the most favorable terms/total costs
* Provide subject matter expertise on technology contracts and related terms including Master License, Service & Purchase Agreements.
* Able to manage the contract review for all agreements guided by a legal framework provided by the OGC (Office of the General Counsel); escalating to OGC as needed.
* Ensure that contracts/agreements are within security requirements, compliance requirements (specific focus for healthcare) and audit requirements
* Able to develop or improve on workflows and processes to ensure the timely flow of RFX, contracts, SoWs, and amendments.
* Manage contracts within a CMS (Contract Management Systems – ONIT experience a plus) and provide oversight for the end to end sourcing process through relevant reporting of KPIs, project metrics and vendor metrics
* Build, engage and evaluate a team of Sourcing & Contract Management professionals
* Model and lead with a collaborative style with all stakeholders (e.g. legal, risk management, end user functions, IT teams, partners)
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Technology, Law, Business or related fields, Post Graduate degree a plus.
5+ years of Sourcing/Procurement, Contracting or Technology related roles with direct vendor management accountabilities.
3+ years of management experience of professional teams.
Healthcare experience is not a requirement but experience in technology sourcing roles in industries such as Financial Services, Professional Services, Consulting or Technology preferred.
Clear concise communicator and presenter; effective organizational and planning skills.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $110,479.20 - $143,650.06 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
