    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst (Analytics). In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of supply chain through data analytics and reporting. The data analyst is responsible for soliciting and collecting business requirements from users in order to transform data into actionable business intelligence through reporting. Tools used include Excel, SQL, Alteryx and Tableau. The data analyst will perform financial impact analyses based on different price points and usage; pull purchase order history based on provided criteria; utilize workflows to combine repetitive tasks into one, repeatable process (either through Excel, Alteryx or Microsoft Access); load price files and contract header information into our contract management tool and conduct validation that the load matches the submission. The data analyst will manage key performance indicators for a given area in supply chain and manage the compilation of metrics over time to monitor trends.The Data Analyst will also support ongoing projects and business process improvements in PeopleSoft and other sub-systems. 

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform financial analyses based on pricing, usage, benchmarks and rebates.
    • Manage contracts in GHX by reviewing, updating and troubleshooting submitted price files with sourcing and the vendor.
    • Implement data management best practices to ensure the integrity of the data, quality of data processes, and deliver actionable business intelligence to various internal and external parties.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain users to solicit feedback on the reporting process for continuous improvement.
    • Create reports and dashboards based on business needs for procurement, logistics, sourcing, value analysis and other departments as needed.
    • Document, implement, maintain and recommend operating methods to improve data processing, distribution, and data flow.
    • Partner with fellow Supply Chain data owners to monitor and resolve data issues at the root-cause.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Strong experience and expertise in Excel. Has a high level of accountability, inquisitive in nature, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in creating documentation and establishing policies and procedures. Must have a strong background in analytics, operations, systems or supply chain.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with SQL, Alteryx and any other supply chain management technologies are preferred.
