    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Associate.

     

    The Project Associate is responsible for the organization and coordination of tasks associated with the medical school curriculum. The Project Associate assists the leadership team in all aspects of the administering the academic experience and helps establish systematic solutions for the academic calendar. This position reports to the Administrative Director of OME.

     

     

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communication Management: Serve as the contact point person and troubleshooter for faculty and students
    • Scheduling Management Responsibilities: Organization of Curricular Materials on ALEX Coordinate clinical evaluation sessions Assist with calendaring and group assignments in ALEX Post class schedules and rooms assignments for curriculum students Make schedule changes and updates for curriculum students
    • Content Management Responsibilities: Actively contribute to content planning and the development and editing of course related manuals and materials
    • Manage logistics of implementing new curricular projects
    • Conduct searches for literature, online resources and materials related to medical school education
    • Attend meetings with Office of Medical Education
    • Identify needs for own professional growth
    • Assist faculty with preparing annual course budget and payment invoices
    • Facilitate C21 responsibilities education leadership team

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have an Associate's Degree. Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective Oral, written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer Skills - Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point and Access. Ability to develop basic formulae for spreadsheets; set up routine computer procedures; Ability to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software. Ability to proofread documents and write clear, concise 1st draft. Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minutes.Knowledge of standard office practices. Ability to multi-task while paying attention to details. Ability to use standard office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line telephones, fax machines.
