    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Researcher - Education & Research Dialysis. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for effectively organizing, maintaining, collecting, and entering data. Assists with the initiation, data collection and completion of all research projects.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Appropriately collects relevant data and maintains study case forms. Reviews charts for data and screening of study entry criteria. Maintains regulatory documents. Prepares and disseminates appropriately the documentation necessary for study participant research consent. Performs computer entry and report creation for review of project progression. Maintains adequate supply of study materials. Assists with other departmental projects, as needed.
    • Collects, measures, creates reports and prepares statistical information for meetings and research requested.
    • Validates that all information is correct on system.
    • Initially reviews submissions and formulate response and approval letters. Maintains exempt /expedited files and progress reports.
    • Enters all new submissions, terminations and modifications for the division.
    • Keep an ongoing log of tracking all projects submitted to the IRB administrative office.
    • Assists in completion of necessary forms for check requests. Attains status of the request vouchers throughout the process until distribution of approved payments. Follow protocol and completes appropriate forms for approval of travel and reimbursement of funds to staff members.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a High School diploma or GED required. 3 - 5 Years Data Entry with previous research based experience required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Some college in related field. 1 - 2 years General business experience.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $49,195.40 - $56,820.82 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
