POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Radiation Therapist (ARRT) - Perlmutter Cancer Center - Mineola. In this role, the successful candidate under the direction of the Director of Radiation Oncology, Technical Manager, and Supervisor the Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible to administer ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Maintains efficiency for the daily operations of the department. Functions as an instructor of students.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Technical Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy. New York State license in Radiation Therapy OR temporary permit to practice. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Strong communication (both written and oral), problem solving, and customer service skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office. Thorough knowledge of Radiation therapy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1 - 2 years in Radiation Therapy.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $54.61 - $66.90 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
