    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dietary Supervisor.

    In this role, the successful candidate Works under the direction of the Manager, Dietary Patient Services. Responsible for opening and closing the facility. Supervises, directs, and coordinates the activities of the kitchen personnel with the goal of feeding patients in a timely fashion while following safe foodHandling procedures.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Performs other duties as assigned
    * Maintains an orderly serving line to maintain high standards of service and accuracy.
    * Prepares menu changes following the daily diet report and change form.
    * Completes production sheets on a daily basis.
    * Monitors proper sanitation procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
    * Prepares daily work schedules to ensure adequate staffing for each station in accordance with budgeted FTEs and with minimal use of overtime. Responsible for opening and closing the facility.
    * Supervises, directs, and coordinates the activities of the kitchen personnel with the goal of feeding patients in a timely fashion while following safe food handling procedures. Ensures performance evaluations are completed within the appropriate time frame per hospital policy.
    * Conducts temperature studies on Nursing Units.
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree. 1- 2 years In Food Service. 1- 2 years In a Supervisory capacity. Strong communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills. Ability read well and write legibly. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    OtherCompletion of 120Hour Dietary Managers course. Basic computer skills.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $62,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
