Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Analyst, Performance Analytics - Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for the daily systems operations for the department. Leads and mentor analysts and specialists in the department. Serves as the Clinical Database (CDB)/ Resource Manager (RM) coordinator and acts as the organizational lead regarding the implementation, maintenance and dissemination of data out of the platform. Responsible for the management of Core Measure data reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate submission to regulatory agencies in order to avoid potential federal penalties. Supervises OPPE/FPPE process, Quality Management Morbidity System and Practitioner Profile database. Designs, prepares and coordinates performance dashboards including; departmental level, unit level,House wide quality and safety, as well as aHAC composite.
Job Responsibilities:
* Leads role and mentors team that runs reports from the Vizient CDBRM, ODB and other performance databases to support dashboards such as, departmental and unit level, HAC composite and others as they arise.
* Collaborates and provides analytical reports to Patient Safety and Quality Specialists, Clinical and Administrative staff and leadership in a clear, actionable format to support identification of opportunities for improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement strategies.
* Responsible for the daily technical and system operations of the department. Monitors the Quality Management information systems and is responsible for revision and implementation of changes as necessary based upon industry standards and the needs of the organization.
* Oversees and validates data reports from the various federal and state programs as well as data reports from other sources. This includes but is not limited to the CMS Value Based Purchasing Program, the Hospital Readmission Reduction Program and the Hospital Acquired Condition Program.
* Responsible for the preparation of meeting materials, including all quality related data for QIRM, QIAC, Department Head, and the Board of Directors meeting, as well as other quality related meetings as they arise. Coordinates, maintains and assures the integrity of the Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) systems and processes relative to Quality Management in accordance with hospital policy and accreditation standards.
* Maintains and ensures that CMS Core Measure data is reported in a timely, accurate and complete manner. This includes distributing the data throughout the hospital to the various teams responsible for the performance improvement of the core measure sets.
* Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree Business,Healthcare analytics, PublicHealth or related field. 6- 8 years Healthcare Analytics. Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills. Advanced computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) to include spreadsheet applications, graphic design, Internet and database applications. Knowledge of industry agencies related to quality measurement such as NHSN, CMS, AHRQ etc. Mastery of Vizient CDB/RM.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Business, Healthcare analytics, Public Health or related field. Experience with Tableau with SQL/MySQL.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72,885.55 - $96,408.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
