    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Support - Part Time - Mineola.

    In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for assisting the supervising pharmacist with any required tasks that Have been approved by federal and state regulations and Hospital policies for performance by non-licensed pharmacy personnel.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Non-Licesnsed Pharmacy Personell
    * Responsible for assisting Pharmacy department staff with required tasks approved by federal and state regulations
    * Assist with appropriate inventory management
    * Expedite appropriate medications uitilizing the PEV-CO pneumatic tube sustem/
    * Transport appropriate medications between departments following chain of custody guidelines
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of Pharmacy experience or currently accepted/enrolled in an Accredited School of Pharmacy PharmD Program. Good communication (both oral and written), organizational, detail oriented, and record keeping skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to prepare sterile products using proper aseptic technique.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $19.29 - $22.97 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
